Discover the world's tallest vertical axis wind turbine!
Where nature meets history and technology!
An immersive experience in the world of wind power. Designed in the 1980s for scientific research and located at the heart of Quebec's first wind farm, Projet Éole is the best place to learn everything about wind turbines!
A uniquely designed experimental power plant!
A year after research was halted in 1993, Projet Éole became Canada's first wind power interpretation center. Since 2019, under the leadership of a new, young and dynamic administration, the site has been completely restored to offer a seamless, diverse, and enjoyable visit that will appeal to everyone. The retro-industrial look of the power plant will take you back in time!
Project Éole is managed by the Éole Foundation, a charitable organization whose ambition is to enable all generations to discover, understand and take ownership of renewable energy as a lever for autonomy, innovation and resilience for the benefit of all.

Warm place, very pleasant free visit, the guides are very available, explain to us and answer our questions in a good mood. A stop at their field of flowers and plants is also necessary! Thank you all for … More visit -

An attraction that allows you to learn a lot about Quebec's interest in the autonomy of a region in electricity. The wind turbine is very special and worth the detour. The guide was great and explained very well … More the challenges of this project which ended up being abandoned. The lady at the store was a sweetheart and I took pleasure in chatting with her. Very pleasant. A good outing. Parking is free and accessible to people with reduced mobility. No need to book in advance. -
